I am an anthropologist based at the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. During Michaelmas Term 2018, I was an Academic Visitor at CSASP within the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies under the mentorship of Prof. Nayanika Mathur during Michaelmas term 2018. My research interests focus on medical anthropology, the anthropology of science, and the anthropology of the state. Currently, I am working on a new research project about the transformation of state planning in India and its implications for healthcare. Furthermore, I am completing a manuscript about my earlier research on reproductive medicine in India, tentatively titled: “Substantial Relations: The Making of Reproductive Medicine in Postcolonial India.”
