I studied Sociology, Economics and Industrial Relations from St.Joseph's College, Bangalore and Social Science Research Methodology from the Institute of Social and Economic Change. I have worked as a volunteer field researcher for Sustainable Urbanism International (a research unit of GSAPP, Columbia University); as a Soft Skills trainer for SD&A-India and as a Project Head at U&I, a Bangalore-based NGO. I am currently the Editor of Menstrupedia, a social initiative that addresses menstruation-related issues in India and I have applied for the MSc in Contemporary India course because of its multidisciplinary curriculum whose modules I hope to tailor towards pursuing a research-based career, particularly in the study of gender, sexuality and human development.
