In December 2025, Professor Janaki Srinivasan (Oxford School of Global and Area Studies) co-convened the First STS India Network Conference, held at OP Jindal Global University, near Delhi. Organised in collaboration with OP Jindal Global University, the STS India Network and IIT Delhi, the conference brought together scholars and practitioners to explore the co-shaping of science, technology, and society in India and to strengthen an emerging STS research network focused on the region.
