Kate Sullivan de Estrada visits Indian Ocean Commission HQ as Oxford Policy Exchange Network Fellow

Prof. Kate Sullivan de Estrada spent a week with the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) in Mauritius from 11 to 15 March as one of this year’s Oxford Policy Exchange Network (OPEN) Fellows. Working with designated OPEN Partner and Head of Mission of the IOC, Mr Raj Mohabeer, Kate engaged in conversations and exchanges aimed at consolidating a shared understanding of IOC maritime security policy priorities and perspectives in their broader regional context. This visit was the first of a set of interactions that underpin Kate’s OPEN project, titled “Maritime Security Strategies in the Indian Ocean: Learning from the Indian Ocean Commission”.
