Jean Drèze's book 'Sense and Solidarity' made available online for free by OUP

It has recently been announced that Jean Drèze’s book Sense and Solidarity, which was launched by CSASP/OPHI in November 2017, has been made available in full text, open access, by the publishers, Oxford University Press.

Jean Drèze is the long-standing co-author with Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen on human development in India. This book is a set of exemplary case studies of policy and action over 15 years in India. It’s a wonderful resource for academics who want to hear the perspective from very grounded activism and think about how to influence policy.
