Barbara Harriss-White Thesis Prize winners 2024

The Barbara Harriss-White Prize for the best MPhil Modern South Asian Studies thesis in 2024 was awarded to Sidra Yousaf for her work entitled Contentious “Junoon” and Violence: A Study of the Use of Vigilantism in the Case of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan.

The Barbara Harriss-White Prize for the best MSc Modern South Asian Studies thesis in 2024 was awarded to Rohan Chopra. Rohan's thesis was entitled “If they would run in Dihlí as they do here, it would be a perfect paradise”: Inclusion Through Familiarity in Mohan Lal’s Travelogue (1831-1834)
