I have been closely associated with rule of law and access to justice initiatives during my career as a field officer and also at policy making level.
I am a professional investigator and have extensive training on this aspect of policing. I have experience of managing a huge Police Force (Punjab Police) in terms of administration, accountability, training and career planning. I have an extensive intelligence experience especially in counter intelligence where I have been exposed to the importance of human intelligence.
I also have experience in research and analysis especially when I was an Instructor at National School of Public Policy. I have made extensive contacts in the Public Sector and also in the Academic Sector. I regularly give talks on various legal and other related subjects which are directly related with the concept of Rule of Law in various Institutions. During my aforementioned academic endeavours, I have collaborated with the legal fraternity and developed successful partnerships in both the bench and the bar. I have travelled extensively and made many international contacts in Law Enforcement Departments.
I am interested in studying about reforms in public sector especially after the end of armed conflict in Pakistan and how to revive the loss of trust in the public sector in Pakistan.
I hold two LLM (Germany & Netherlands) in Law & Economics. I also hold European Masters in Law & Economics (EMLE), as Erasmus Mundus Scholar besides holding LLB (Hons) (UK) and Masters in Economics (Pakistan).
