Information on scholarships can be found via Student Funding Services

Overseas students should attempt to find funding from scholarship schemes in their home countries and can additionally apply for the Rhodes Scholarship, Felix Scholarship, Commonwealth Shared Scholarship and the Chevening Scholarships. The Clarendon scholarships is now open to all students regardless of nationality. Details of these scholarships can be found at the here.

The Contemporary South Asian Studies Programme is delighted to host the Pran Nath Bahl Memorial Scholarships. This scholarship is open to graduate students of Indian nationality demonstrating exceptional academic merit and/or potential commencing the MSc in Contemporary India.  It is anticipated that scholars will return to India on completion of the degree. The scholarship will be awarded annually begining in the academic year 2012-13 and up to and including academic year 2014-15. One scholarship of £25,000 will be available in each academic year. Each scholarship will contribute to the cost of tuition and the college fee payable by the Scholar.  There is no application form, all candidates with an offer from the department who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for this award. The scholarship will be awarded in Trinity Term. Students must apply by the third deadline of 9 March, 2012.

In addition, the School of Interdisciplinary Area Studies will award a small number of scholarships on grounds of academic merit to students applying for this degree.
