CSASP Alumnus is runner up to the Bodley Head/Financial Times essay competition.
Congratulations to 2008-2009 Alumnus Raghu Karnad, runner up out of 400 entrants to the Bodley Head/Financial Times essay competition. His essay is an elegant and elegaic piece on a great-uncle who died fighting in the British Indian Army in World War II, described as "brilliant" by Simon Schama, who chaired the judges. It's published in Financial Times.
Raghu Karnad, 29, is a journalist based in Delhi and Bangalore. He has worked as a reporter on the Indian magazines Outlook and Tehelka and is a former editor of Time Out Delhi.
